Hi, my name is Nikola and I am a freelance creative director. I was born and raised in Poland, in times of surrounding me cultural changes, as I am a part of the first generation not impacted by war. However, I still feel very nostalgic about times that I can't possibly remember. 

 

When I was 17 I decided to study abroad, as I always felt the spirit of internationality, the idea of being a citizen of the world was always very convincing. Deeply fascinated by the aesthetics of past decades of my homeland’s story, I am constantly looking for the future in the past. 

 

I realised I have been consistently strong with directing throughout my BA Fashion Promotion degree and passion for art direction has truly bloomed throughout my university journey, where I could find out what a combination of creative freedom and control tastes like. I believe I am quite a story-teller. 

 

I am deeply in love with print and editorial. I am a publisher and founder of Obywatel Magazine, kept in balance with my post-communal eastern-European and cosmopolitan inspirations, which you can find on this website!
